## The Stalking Beast

Here I sit, while the house sleeps, my mind is racing a million miles an hour with no hope of slowing down in sight. Mania. The beast that visits me in perpetuity. Never consistently. Existing almost at the edge of my periphery. I know she's there even if her presence is not fully manifest. Never knowing when her grand entrance will be made is exhausting. 

What brought her out this evening? A creative spurt. And this time her visit is timed with a flare up of my Menieres. Always piss poor timing. Yet tonight I indulge her. I have a desire to get this Neato blog set up and tweaked, so I allow this. And will I pay for it tomorrow? Absolutely. But this is the price one pays. When the energy wanes, will I have accomplished all I hope? Or will this be another project that is inserted into the kiln but never fully fired. Only time will tell.
